Following your reservation, Villa Petriolo will send you a confirmation note containing your invoice and payment instructions.

By Plane
We recommend flying into Florence Airport (FLR) as Villa Petriolo is located a 40-minute drive away.
By Car
Renting a car is a wonderful option to explore Italy and the region of Tuscany. There are a wide variety of car rental options directly at the Florence Airport where you can reach Villa Petriolo through a scenic drive.
By Train
From Florence S.M.N Railway Station, you can take the train to Pisa or Livorno. Stop at San Miniato-Fucecchio Station. Continue to Villa Petriolo by local bus or private transport service.

When are the check-in and check-out times at Villa Petriolo?
For all guests staying at Villa Petriolo, check-in on Friday is at 3:30 pm. If you arrive earlier, the reception staff will gladly assist you in storing your luggage until check-in time. On Sunday, check-out is at 11:00 am; however, you are welcome to stay at Villa Petriolo and enjoy the facilities (pool, spa, etc.) until 1:00 pm.
What is the typical weather like in Tuscany during this time of year?
Anticipate warm and pleasant weather, featuring daytime averages between 25°C (77°F) and 28°C (83°F), with nighttime temperatures cooling to 16℃ (60℉) to 18°C (64°F). We suggest packing light and breathable fabrics such as cotton or linen for your comfort. Additionally, consider bringing a light jacket for cooler evenings.
Will the wedding ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will be held indoors at The Church of San Leonardo, and the reception will be held outdoors at Villa Petriolo. In the event of rain, the reception will transition indoors.
What is the dress code for the events?
For the church ceremony, we kindly ask guests to follow a summer formal dress code. For inspiration, this could include colorful dresses, light suits, or separates. The dress code for the reception is black tie – but above all, please come in whatever makes you feel comfortable! We want everyone to have a great time! There will be ample time between the church ceremony and reception for guests to change outfits if desired.
Will there be any pescatarian and vegetarian dinner options?
Yes, we will provide pescetarian and vegetarian dinner options. Kindly indicate your dinner preference here.
Are kids invited?
Absolutely! Children are welcome at all wedding celebrations. Villa Petriolo offers childcare services for our guests to take advantage of. For more information, please contact Villa Petriolo at info@villapetriolotuscany.com.
Are steaming and pressing services available?
Yes, an ironing service is available. Any items you would like to be pressed must be handed over to the reception before 6:00 pm. All garments will be delivered to your room by 10:00 am on the following day.
How do we book experiences and spa services?
We have selected the following experience options for our guests:
Friday: Wine Tasting at 3:30 pm
Saturday: E-Bike Tour at 9:00 am
Saturday: Cooking Classes at 10:00 am (with lunch included)

Will transportation be provided to/from the Church?
On the day of the wedding, transportation will be provided for all guests from Villa Petriolo to The Church of San Leonardo and back to the villa for the reception.
Where should guests park, and is parking free?
Villa Petriolo offers free covered parking at the entrance of the villa.
Are there taxis in the Tuscany region, and what is the best mode of transportation to Villa Petriolo if we don't have a car?
Please note that there is no public transportation directly to Villa Petriolo. For those without a car, an alternative option is to take the train from Florence to Empoli. Upon arriving at the Empoli train station, you can then take a taxi directly to Villa Petriolo.
